{Giveaway} Signed Copy of If I Stay by Gayle Forman

Oh hai there. It's Oceana Fern.

Yes, you can win a signed copy of that IF I STAY by the wonderful, hysterical, talented Gayle Forman.

Photobucket
A critically acclaimed novel that will change the way you look at life, love, and family.

In the blink of an eye everything changes. Seventeen year-old Mia has no memory of the accident; she can only recall what happened afterwards, watching her own damaged body being taken from the wreck. Little by little she struggles to put together the pieces- to figure out what she has lost, what she has left, and the very difficult choice she must make. Heartwrenchingly beautiful, Mia's story will stay with you for a long, long time.

IF I STAY is a really amazing book, and if you haven't read it, please do. I actually loved her new novel, JUST ONE DAY, more than IF I STAY, which was a huge surprise - considering all the problems I had with our protagonist, Allyson. But I loved it so much!

I had my blogger friends in mind when I purchased an extra copy at Gayle's blog tour signing for JUST ONE DAY in Miami (cue the squealing) and decided to use this signed copy for ASSORTED INSANITY'S first giveaway... hosted by me, Oceana Fern!

I BEAT YO ASS LISBETH

But before you scroll straight down to Rafflecopter to start putting in entries, I'm going to torture you with just a few pictures of Gayle, myself, and Gayle and myself at the signing.

She knew my name was French. SCORE.

Oh, oh, and I caught Gayle dancing in the lobby while I was happily destroying my delicious Black Forest cake. I took a picture, but, uh... *clutches phone to chest* MINE.

Oh, and if you see this around, it's the official advertisement for this giveaway:
disclaimer: he's not really. we wish.

I'll be paying for shipping and handling (my poor monies), and I'll try to send the book to the winner as soon as possible. I'll email the winner immediately (and tweet them if possible). The winner has seventy-two hours to respond before I pick another winner. I'm looking at you, winner. Lucky bitch.

I promise I'll do another giveaway that will be open internationally, but not this one.

Open only to those who live in the contiguous United States of America.

This means that Alaska and Haiwaii are not included. I'm really, really sorry, but I do promise that when I get the chance and the money, I will do an international giveaway.

I'm not responsible if the book shows up looking like it was used as a punching glove on your doorstep. Sorry, bitch at the postal service, not at me. I shipped it looking like new. *haughty sniff*

This giveaway ends at 12 AM on February 6, 2013.

Open to the United States (contiguous 48 states)

    3. Me neither, so I'm going to read CRANK as soon as I can. Supposedly they're amazing. Lisbeth adores free verse, but I've never read in that style and I'm not sure I'll be a fan.

Awww, Valeria! But don't you live in Mexico? It's only open to the contiguous 48 states. =( I feel so shitty every time someone enters and doesn't see the part above the Rafflecopter that says it.

I promise I'll have another international giveaway soon, though! =(

    1. Well, Books and Books has tons of author signings, so maybe you'll attend one! Are you planning on going to the Breathless Reads tour in February?

  9. Very cool! If I may give a suggestion; one way to save shipping costs (and not have to limit the giveaways) is to give away e-books. I tend to prefer doing that because I have followers all over the world. I may not have very many of them, they are scattered everywhere... :-) So, just take that as you wish. The blog looks awesome!
